Curious Exchange

Editorial policy

Curious Exchange aims to make cultural exchange easier to understand without overstating what is known. We explain our reasoning, distinguish fact from interpretation and take care with the people and traditions a subject represents.

Accuracy and context

We check factual claims against suitable reference material and provide context for names, dates and cultural terms when they matter to the explanation. We avoid turning a complex history into a single origin story and distinguish documented details from interpretations or open questions.

Independence and labelling

Editorial decisions are made for the reader's interest and clarity. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is identified as such, kept distinct from independent editorial coverage and labelled plainly wherever it appears.

Corrections

If a published piece contains an error, we review the concern and correct it when warranted. Readers can use the Contact page to point out a specific passage and explain what appears inaccurate; substantive changes should be made clear to readers.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Illustrations are not evidence for historical or cultural claims, and captions should not imply that an illustrative image documents a real person, event or object.
